This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Chatty Kidz on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Chatty Kidz makes learning to read & speak English fun, easy and more engaging with a huge library of leveled educational books (i.e. reading difficulty easy to hard).

On any internet-connected device, a Chatty Kidz user selects an e-book, turns the pages on screen, and follows along as a native English speaker reads the text in a pop-up video window. The child can record a video of themselves reading aloud, to share with other children for peer-to-peer learning, and for assessment and feedback by educators and parents.
