what's the point of even having a baby mode if babies don't use watches

Nice images, but either my toddler is a genius or the lock isn't effective - I enabled it on my watch, and handed it to him. He played with it for a second or two, grinned, and handed it back to me, unlocked. UPDATE: on my LG G watch, holding my hand over the screen for about a second unlocks it;; that must be what my son did..
