This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Dog Lingo - talk to your dog on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

DogLingo is the easiest and most fun way to talk to your dog. It may take longer to load on some phones due to the large amount of fun phrases built in, but it's worth the wait. Once it loads, simply scroll to the phrase you want and press the button to talk to your dog. If you love talking cat apps, but also like dogs, we think you'll love Dog Lingo. Note: please see the end of this message for a note on download times for this app.
There are 38+ fun and entertaining phrases to talk to you dog with (or tease other friends and pets), and the list is growing as users submit new sounds at doglingo.com. If you haven't tried the symphony go to catlingo.com to see our video with the symphony in our catlingo example.

Note: The application may need a restart after if you launch right after install due to an android error. If you don't launch right after install, you will not see the restart message.
Note on download times: While most users will have no problem downloading, there appears to be some weird behavior on some phones where downloading seems to freeze. Google controls the download servers, so if it freezes, you might need to just again. Usually a different time of day to download seems to fix the problem. We've seen this type of behavior on Motorola Photons and HTC Incredible, but it eventually works and downloads.
