About this app

The story follows the adventure of Jim Hawkins, a young lad who lives with his parents in the Admiral Benbow, an inn near Bristol, England in the 18th century. A sudden visit from an old sea captain who dies in the inn due to a black spot leaves Jim and his mother with a treasure map. Realising its value, Jim seeks the help of Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney, who shared his excitement about the map which leads to treasure that is buried by the infamous pirate, Captain Flint. Trelawney immediately begins preparations for a journey to the treasure island, and begins putting together a crew, among which is Long John Silver, Captain Flint’s former mate, and Smollet, a trustworthy captain. The voyage goes smoothly until Jim overhears Long John Silver preparing the crew for mutiny. Jim must gather those he trusts, and find a way out of the mutiny alive, or he and his friends may die in the hands of pirates.
