About this app

This app calculates the pressure to inflate your tyres based on the weight of the vehicle and cargo and the maximum pressure recommended for the tyre. You can input weight in either kilograms or pounds and input pressure in either kilo-pascals (kPa) or pounds per square inch (psi). The result is output in both kilo-pascals and pounds per square inch.

The app has four inputs; vehicle weight, cargo weight (when inflating), maximum cargo weight and maximum tyre pressure. The maximum cargo weight entered must not exceed that recommended by the vehicle manufacturer and a accurate real life value will result in a better inflation pressure result.
