This was really helpful in learning Cyrillic. Mark introduces the sounds in the context of English words, then provides lots of Russian examples using real signs with a native speaker pronouncing them. Most of the examples are cognates, so once you learn how the letters sound, you can easily decipher the words that sound similar to their English counterparts. This helps keeps the focus on learning the letters and their sounds without the extra challenge of a new vocabulary.

This app is really useful. However, I have a problem where if I switch to other app during a lesson (for example: I need to take a call) it start from the beginning of the lesson again. Maybe you can fix it so that it will continue where I left it. Thanks!

Five solid stars. Something to try, if even just for fun, to see how quickly you can actually learn an alphabet. Something I don't remember doing at the young age I learned English so it was very interesting. It was also neat to see that you can then figure out some similar English words phonetically.

Excellent app. I like the use of 'cognates' to present words which are the same or similar in Russian and English as a way of introducing Russian. I'm sure it will be a challenge to eventually learn Russian but using this app is a great start to the process.

We need offline app . Its sticking somewhere suddenly and i cant able to resume lessions . Sometimes we dont have internet for kids to teach them and learn russian . now i am in a remote area where internet is slow and its not working well . till time i am waiting to resume lessions my interest diverted some other things . please make offline version of app . please

Couldn't play any of the videos, Kept getting the message "can't play this video"! What a waste of time to download it and try!! I DO HAVE INTERNET AND SPACE. I can hear my German language apps alright!!
