I keep looking for something better I keep failing to find it. The occasional error messages although annoying don't actually impede function and this app really does what I needed to do

I was tired of our analog clock radio's inconsistent reception of the local NPR affiliate, to which we like to waken. It finally occurred to me that someone must have written a clock radio app that can play a streaming URL and/or music tracks -- and sure enough, I found Clock Radio Pro. It works beautifully for me. I set up our standard weekday and weekend alarms in two of the four allotted alarm slots, plugging in the KPBS streaming URL. Now I hear a nice, crisp, clear audio stream when it's time to wake up. I started with the freebie version, but once I saw how professional and beautiful the interface is, I immediately spent the pittance for the Pro version -- not because the adverts are annoying (they're not, they're actually quite low key) -- but because the developer deserves some money for his efforts. I was disappointed when the November '18 update caused the app to become incompatible with my old Samsung tablet, after many years.

The radio does not pick up anything. Every setting checked. No internal software monitoring of its own functions. None.
