We have adopted for ourselves a mission that advocates social transformation through dynamic education. 26th April, 1996 was a moment of glory for BharatiVidyapeeth, the day on which the Government of India granted the status of University initially to a cluster of 12 Institutions of BharatiVidyapeeth on the recommendations of University Grants Commission. Today BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University has 29 Constituent units and perhaps it may be the largest multi-disciplinary multi campus University of its Kind in the country. BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University has introduced a large number of innovative degree and diploma programmes after considering demand for the same from the students. BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University invariably revises its course structures and syllabi periodically.
With cosmopolitan atmosphere, global appearance and most importantly academic excellence with enriched infrastructural facilities, BharatiVidyapeeth University could attract a large number of international students. As of today there are more than 400 students from 36 countries are enrolled with various constituent units of the university. BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University has created a separate cell to help and guide International students. BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University meticulously follows its time table of admissions and examinations. All its constituents units have created and maintained the tradition of commencing their academic sessions latest by 15th June every year. One of the distinguishing features of BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University is that all health related disciplines such as Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathic and Nursing are located in the same campus. BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University probably is the only University of its kind in the country having research institutes on its constituent units. They are YashwantraoChavan Institute of Social Science Studies and Research, Research and Development centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Applied Chemistry, and Interactive Research School for Health Affairs. BharatiVidyapeeth Deemed University is enthusiastically continuing noble cause of education from very well equipped high tech campuses in Pune, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi,Sangli, Karad, Kolhapur and Solapur .
