Works awesome. Have it set up on my shield pro with plex and an lg OLED C9. As far as it not syncing with DRM content such as Netflix, Prime, Disney try running them in your chrome browser (sideload onto your android device like shield pro) and it should work. This is not the fault of the app as hue will not sync to DRM content even with the hue sync box. Make sure to set up your light placement in the hue app entertainment area as doing this gave me complete screen coverage with my 3 lights.

I'm using this with a shield TV, i watch all my content through an app, so movies, live TV, series etc, all work really well. But if you watch through actual Netflix or prime etc, it won't work.. saved me buying a sync box for now

Doesn't work with DRM content. Netflix. Stan. Amazon prime. Disney. None of them. So basically it's a great app for connecting your lights to your smart tv menu, because that's all it can sync with.

Im using this with my Nvidia Shield TV and Plex. I've played around with Hue sync on my PC and a couple of camera grab apps and this is by far the simplest and easiest way for me to integrate hue entertainment into my setup. Cant say im completely aware of what the settings do but so far so good, has worked without issue. Please keep up the great work.

It works with content that's not protected, so Netflix and other streaming apps do not work. Video files, certain apps, and games work. Best movie so far using this has been Godzilla King of Monsters

Works great on my Sony Android TV watching my Emby Server content. Emby is similar to Plex. I hope it works with the Hue Gradient Lightstrip releasing next week.
