I generally like the application. It is my main source of d2d news, on the go. I particularly like that you can watch " live news" if you so wish if one of the headlines prompts you to do so. I do think the content is becoming a bit " Americanised". I guess that is due to the ownership now ? ( Would be 5 stars ) The application is also 100% reliable in terms of technical and usage . Definitely in my top 5 used applications. I think I have 94 on my phone !!

The standard of proof reading (or lack thereof) is comically bad. I can barely go a day without spotting mistakes within an article or even within the main headline. I'm also not opposed to adverts in principle, but it would be nice for a giant like Sky to distance itself from some of the sponsored apps which are so obviously scams. Not a good look giving criminals a platform.

A great app enabling you to keep up to date with world news. Excellent choice of topic listing too. The only concern is the unexpected and loud announcement tune that randomly blasts out on my mobile sometimes at most surprising moments causing surprised people in your local space to question what's that. Hopefully there can eventually be a way of silencing this alert in future sky news app updates

Excellent, up to date on breaking news stories, weather, leaves other news apps standing. Update, still the best app for news. Just one wrinkle tho!!! Could you please cut back on the Harry and Megan story? The same attention killed his Mother. I believe if a quality news feed like Sky could set the standard,, then others would surely follow?? Otherwise, still five stars out of five

It's great. It has a dark mode, unlike some other news apps. That's the reason I made the switch. An AMOLED mode would make it even better. I'd also like a customised front page for my news. They need to have a setting for only important news notifications - right now there's too many trivial newsflash RS.

Was a great 'news' app. Used to be that, when you heard the 'Breaking News' chimes from the Sky 'News' app, you immediately knew something serious had just happened somewhere in the world and the Sky 'News' app was about to tell you what. Breaking news so far today, according to the Sky 'News' app, is (a) the country is now on 'day 2' of mourning Prince Philip and (b) some nomark wannabe celebrity thought they could save some other nomark wannabe celebrity ... but didn't. Notifications: OFF 💩
