About this app

A talking and GPS enabled application that handles 140 South Carolina Historical Markers from around the capital city of Columbia, SC. This area, also know as the Midlands of South Carolina, covers the counties of Calhoun, Fairfield, Lexington, and Richland. Just start the app and take a walk through the Marker rich area of downtown Columbia or take a drive through the Midlands. The app will, automatically, read the markers as you approach them in your selected voice (English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian) or you can select a silent text mode. Even if you are not in the area, you can always move around the map and select/trigger markers or select then from a list.
