This is great, I've been looking for something like this. I'm slightly bothered that the character name is justified with the dialogue instead of being in the center like most scripts. A couple of things, could it be set to monitor a folder on my SD card where I keep my scripts? Sort by read/unread. Maybe the ability to have folders in the library or something similar to separate out movie, tv, Blacklist scripts and so on. But this app is a cool idea, thanks.

This is the best app I've ever seen for reading PDF scripts on mobile 😊 Instead of having to zoom in on each page turn and scroll around to read tiny text, it's rearranged to make it easier to read than a printed copy!!! I no longer need to email copies to be converted by Kindle, this is way better. I would love to see a future version with the ability to add notes which get saved to the PDF file so I can give feedback to writers, I would gladly pay for that option - but regardless, this is a game-changer for me 😃

The app works ok but there are a few big problems. The scripts I recieve are watermarked with my name. The app reads the watermark and inserts the letters randomly throughout each page. This messes up the formatting, sometimes creating huge blocks of unformatted text and dialogue and screen direction mashed together, and then the app doesn't recognize the majority of actors' dialogue and in turn the dialogue highlighting doesn't work.

The app is nice when it works properly. Unfortunately, it doesn't format correctly each script in pdf, so sometimes you can encounter issues such as blank sections. I give 3 stars for encouragement, hoping to see a better refined app in the near future.

Really cool app. Those people who said app not working mostly try upload old scripts ( You can't copy text). I have just one problem because my native language not English, when I read PDF file I can copy word and get definition of word on my dictionary without exiting file. but in this app I can't copy text ((( Really sad

So, before it used to start all over at the first page when you bookmark and exit, but now it actually returns you to your spot when you open up the app again and that's a major reliever! I'm so glad I kept this app u til they got that fixed.

About this app

Script Reader is an application for reading screenplays and TV scripts.
A tutorial on how to use the app can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/lbLIEEl

Features:
- Supports PDF and FDX importing (PDFs containing scanned images will still be shown as images)
- Scripts automatically adapt to your device
- Script customization (font type, text size, character colors, ...)
- Character highlighting (long press on a character's dialogue to quickly access that character's properties)
- Night mode
- Read scripts by scrolling vertically like on a website (default) or by flipping pages by tapping left and right on the screen like in an ebook ('Book mode')
- Scene navigation: swipe from the left edge of the screen to see a list of all the scenes in the script. Tap one to navigate directly to that scene.
- Original PDF view: swipe from the right edge of the screen to quickly check the original PDF view of the script

If you have issues with the app (something not working right, missing feature, ...) or have a script that does not render correctly, don't hesitate to contact me. I will update the app as time allows.

New features

- Labels can now be attached to scripts. Scripts can be filtered using these labels in the library.
- Better parsing of scripts in PDFs (mainly dialogue)
