This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Braven Stryde Active Speaker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Tried using the app with my new Stryde 360, the speaker is connected by Bluetooth fine. Launch the app, power on and it finds speaker, goes to pair option on setup menu, hold the BT button on the speaker then the app takes you to your phones BT settings. Once connected the app stays on the phones BT settings, even in mini menu it's listen under Braven but does not return to the apps setup where it provides speaker info, settings etc. Great speaker, would love to be able to use it as my alarm clock to never miss a wake up again. Will be looking for app updates

the speaker connects to my bluetooth, but the braven app fails to connect and gets all glitchy. and it says it's supposed to be a battery bank and has 40hrs of playtime. I definitely cant seem to get more than 4 or 5 hrs of just playing music out of it without it dying, not to mention having to hit reset button at least once a day just to get it to turn on.

I am able to connect and pair to the app but then I receive a pop up that says "Firmware Update Required There is a firmware update required. To ensure proper speaker functionality your speaker needs to be updated." them when I click update it says "Braven Active has stopped" and the app crashes. Please help me find a solution for this. I am using an Android Motorola.

Galaxy note 9 the app freezes occasionally and makes it to where i have to hit reset my speaker to shut it off The app is good for equalizer adjustment, needless volume control and battery life percentage monitoring. Display lights toggle in the app appears not to work, my Stryde has no display lights showing up.

Garbage. Connect to my Braven Stryde 360 fine over Bluetooth, but the app doesn't recognize it.

stupid app always saying it failed to connect. yet it is connected and i can play music using other music player. waste of time.
