Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SMS Location on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Not bad. Works fine on Desire 2.2. Should add option to take and add photo with link as MMS. Also, sent msgs should be added to msgs sent box.

About this app

An app to allow you to send via text (SMS) your location as longitude and latitude co-ordinates, as an address or as a link to Google Maps.

New Features in version 1.0.1.0:
* Drop-down linked to contacts for ease of choosing recipient
* Ability to edit contents of message prior to sending.
* Message limited to 160 characters and splits if non ASCII characters are used

New features

Added some new features. Fixed the dropdown so it searches first and last names. Fixed bug which could cause address not being sent in some countries due to length of message.
