This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BooXchg - Books Exchange Platform on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

BooXchg (Books Exchange) is a platform that allows users to exchange or give up any kind of books, novels, magazines, or comics. BooXchg is free to use for all users. The following are the features of this app:

Main feature:
====================
1. AddBook : You can create the profile of a book which you want to give-up. You can make it available OR remove from being searched with AVAILABLE switch.

2. WishList : This is list of the books which you want to get from BooXchg database. This acts as a saved search, allowing the user to check for the book's availability at any moment.

3. BARCODE scan : Most of the book information can be filled automatically with scanning facility of ISBN barcode. This facility of scanning is available for BOTH AddBook and to create WishList.

Privacy
================

1. Hiding the Name: Allow users total privacy to opt Screen Name IF they prefer it.
2. Hiding Photo: Allows users to hide their profile picture IF preferred.
3. Contact preference: Choose your means of communication (Call or Chat or Both)
4. Chat feature : Allows users to communicate with each other without disclosing Name, contact or location IF user prefers so.

Process flow:
==========================
The process flow for BooXchg is as follows:
1. Make your own profile.
2. Upload your books which you want to give-up.
OR
3. Create your Wish List for the books you want from BooXchg
4. Manual Search for books you want or search thru the WishList
5. Call or Chat with the owner (as preferred) and work out a trade.
