As an author, I love the Booksprout website for distributing my ARC's prior to launch. After hearing some odd feedback from readers, I decided to check out the app version for myself. It doesn't have any clear way to identify ARCs, and in fact doesn't seem to advertise or highlight them at all. Very disappointing, as it would be a great tool if developed fully!

I've had the same problem as a previous reviewer. The website is great to set up ARCs, but the app is not good. There's no easy way to actually find ARCs as a reader; it doesn't seem to highlight them at all. It's disappointing because it's expensive to use as an author, but if you don't already have followers to send the link to, it's unlikely that your books/ARCs will be seen by many new readers (which is half the reason I started using it in the first place - to get new ARC readers)

I love the online webpage Booksprout. Downloading books and reviewing is a great experience. The app is pretty horrible, in my opinion. There's no clear way to see which authors are offering ARCs, books for sale, sales, freebies etc. Once you get past there big categories there's no way to sort by subgenre. Honestly, I find the app hugely frustrating and I only use it to favorite authors I'm fimiliar with. It's really too bad because if they improved their search they could have a great app

Both the app and the website for booksprout are good ideas horribly executed. I've used it for getting ARC reviews and wanted to give back by reviewing others. The app doesn't have a way to browse by ARCs. I guess they're mixed in, but everything I clicked on was for purchase. The website, meanwhile, doesn't have a way to browse ARCs by genre.

It was great until. I didn't see that i couldn't review on Amazon and they blocked me from requesting any more arcs. I tried in multiple emails to explain what happened to both the authors when didnt respond (was very respectful) and site manager and nothing was resolved.. so dissatisfied

I must admit I that I was expecting a simple format. I think it's great that you can leave pre-release reviews on books/authors but I feel like I have to jump through hoops to access the book. May suggest allowing the books to open in Play Books, Amazon Kindle app (I don't know anyone who has a Kindle) similar to BbokFunnel
