The app is developed with an aim of helping The Seafarers of India and Abroad. It helps finding contact of offices related to merchant navy. It has a dedicated help section where you can directly call Union office as well as email or WhatsApp . It has help for phonetic Alphabets and world Time zone .It helps all seafarers for the provident fund and retirement and welfare related issues. It has a search section where you can find various shipping companies associated with the union. It displays the dedicated BNSU Help Line numbers where just by tapping you can call from your phone. It has the list of Union Executive Members as well as union representatives in other cities of India .
