The dash cam works OK and records decent footage both front and rear but the App is useless. I cannot get the camera to connect to my phone whatsoever. The phone shows the camera giving out a strong wifi signal but it won't connect even after restoring factory settings. To view footage I have to remove the SD card and use the BMW_AdvancedCarEye2 viewer. Had a response from Support but no better. With so many people saying this App is useless why don't you do something about it !!!!!!

Useless, probably a white elephant. When first installed only recorded bumps in road. With a LOT of effort service people and I managed to get dash cam to record journeys. Upgraded the SD card, and the system obviously recognised the card as all the folders are there (driving, etc) but absolutely no recordings of journeys. App does not explain set up procedure. Did not expect to have to set system up again, particularly as using same mobile phone.

When working correctly, the quality of the camera recordings is very good. The problem with ACE 2.0 is the app. itself. The programming is far too complex and therefore unreliable. This is why there are so many complaints with regard to failed connections and the camera losing the settings that have previously been input.

I would have given this no stars but that is not possible. Wi-fi shows as connected on my phones wi-fi section but when you go back to the app it shows as disconnected and just keeps looping. Total rubbish app.

Can no longer connect to the cam over WiFi after the update. Completely overpriced but I paid it because I didn't want to start running wires behind trim in a brand new car. Now it's totally useless. How can this rubbish pass software testing and QA? Very annoyed and irritated.

Absolute garbage. My Samsung will not connect to app as it forces me to update from version 1.4 to 1.44. I try to update and the app crashes. I restart and it tells me to update. App crashes. Stuck in a never ending loop.
