Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PocketTeacher on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

PocketTeacher has been designed to replace the paper based lists used by teacher.
It helps teachers to:
- Records students activities,marks,home or class works,assignments, etc.
- Calculate student grade at run-time.
- Takes notes about students,classes, and lessons with optional notification.
- Show lecture schedule.
- Automatically switch to current lesson .
- Optionaly, notify parent by SMS or email.

Note:
Due to the large number of questions that ask how to modify the names/lessons and the wrong evaluation based on that, I say:
1 - Is it practical to enter the names of 100-200 students from mobile?
2 - Can you print lessons/marks list from mobile?
Of course not, therefore, editing names, printing lessons and other services are performed by a separate program (named PocketTeacher Assistant ) that works on the desktop computer, and transfer your data to/from the mobile. The version of PocketTeacher that you download generates fake names/lessons for demonstration purpose only.
PocketTeacher Assistant is a program that can be downloaded from the developer's site benmarouf.org.
