نقابة المعلمين الأردنيين تأسست عام 2011
- وهي هيئة اعتبارية منتخبة ذات استقلال مالي وإداري منشأة بموجب قانون رقم 14 لسنة 2011 م تمثل المعلمين/ المعلمات في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وتسعى للارتقاء بالمعلم وبرسالة التعليم والدفاع عن الحقوق الفردية والجماعية للأعضاء المنتسبين لمهنة التعليم وتحصين مكتسباتهم بكل الوسائل المشروعة وتطوير المجالات المرتبطة بمهنته.

الرسالة:
- الارتقاء بالمستوى المهني والاقتصادي للمعلم وتطوير منظومة تعليم تتوافق مع ثوابت الأمة.
- والمشاركة في توفير بيئة تعليمية تربوية أخلاقية آمنة وداعمة نحو البناء.


أهداف النقابة:
- شراكة حقيقية مع وزارة التربية والمؤسسات المهنية والنقابية والهيئات الوطنية والعربية ذات العلاقة بالبعد التعليمي والتربوي.
- الإصلاح النهضوي بالعملية التعليمية والتربوية والاهتمام بالنوع.
- الارتقاء بالمستوى المهني واحترافية الأداء العملي للمعلمين والمساهمة في التخطيط والتدريب والتطوير وخلق بيئة محفزة للإبداع والابتكار والبحث العلمي.
- حماية مصالح وحقوق ومكتسبات المعلمين وتأمين الخدمات الصحية والتعليمية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية بما يحقق الأمان المعيشي.
- تحقيق العدالة والموضوعية في التقييم وتفعيل الرقابة في اختيار الوظائف الإدارية والإشرافية والترفيعات البعثات والمنح. والمخرجات الفاعلة والمتوقعة.
