Based on a democratic fractional ownership agreement where shareholders have the right to buy and sell their own shares within our platform as well as have equitable voting rights to decide when the whole car can be sold either within the platform by a full agreed offer or by agreeing with their fellow shareholders to bring the car to market at one of the leading collector car auction houses.
Blue Chip Car owners holding 10% or more are eligible for custody rights to the vehicle for up to one month out of the year (under rules and custody eligibility). Custody is subject to individual eligibility and availability. Car custody is intended to enhance the prestige and notoriety of the car, building on the practice of campaigning / showing an important vehicle in prestigious car events. Custodians may benefit from utilizing their custody of the car as a passport to prestigious and exclusive car events around the world. Any awards or renumeration earned during an event while in custody belongs to the cars llc (group of owner). Vehicles are fully insured by one of the leading collector car insurance companies and car custody is only available through rigorous custody certification and robust financial responsibility.

Car maintenance, storage, and repairs are some of the most difficult challenges of owning a collector car. With Blue Chip Car, these challenges are taken cared of by the assigned certified industry professional designated as the assets holder. A percentage of the buy commission is automatically distributed to the MSR Fund (Maintenance, Service and Repair Fund).
If you are interested in purchasing a particular car on our platform in full, you can make an offer to purchase the full car by clicking the “Buy Car” button. The offer will be presented to all the fractional owners and if the ownership majority accepts your offer, the car is entered into a 48 hour auction offer where any other interested party can bid higher on the full car, resetting the 48 hour clock. At the end of the non-active 48 hour auction, the full car will sell to the highest bid.
Fractional ownership is limited to 20% of shares per any one individual, family, or organized group, voting majority is based on 55% majority of shares. thus regulating car decisions to at least 3 or more fractional owners and limiting fractional owners to at least 5 owners.
