For anyone reading this, please know this game truly deserves five stars. The reason that I am giving it two stars is simple because it does not work on android. Having played a bit of this game on my gfs iphone, I can ensure anyone that it is amazing, innovative, and immersive as all hell. Dev's, if possible I would love to have this fixed for android so I can give it 5 stars as it deserves.

Amazing game but needs better android support! The game won't open on my S10. I already know the game has a great concept and is well executed from playing on iphone, but it is currently unplayable on android

Very clever and ground breaking use of mobile content to deliver a thought provoking and emotionally engaging theatrical experience. Using the devices of life coaching and personality profiling, you are drawn into a relationship of sorts with Karen that challenges how we think about privacy and who we are in the context of our always-connected lives.

Won't open on my device at all. What a shame! I read an article about this game/app and was really interested.

I think a lot of people are missing the point of this app. It is a form of app theatre and so far I am really appreciating the intimacy the app generates between performer and audience. This is theatre adapted for a mobile platform that is defined by its platform. That is, it is about one person interacting with another and exploring social issues. So clever. I hope Blast Theory do more like this.

Enjoying the experience so far. Be aware you will have to pay for your "data report" at the end of the experience, but it's not expensive. The only problem I have with the app is the 24 hr clock telling you when the next session is avaliable. We should have an option to have a 12 hr clock.

About this app

Karen is a life coach and she’s happy to help you work through a few things in your life.

When you begin, she asks you some questions about your outlook on the world to get an understanding of you. In fact, her questions are drawn from psychological profiling questionnaires. She – and the software – are profiling you and she gives you advice based on your answers.

Karen mixes gaming with storytelling to give you a personalised experience. Play to the end and you get a report on your own data, showing how the science of profiling has been applied to you.

This groundbreaking app is a new work by Blast Theory, developed in partnership with National Theatre Wales. Co-commissioned by The Space and 539 Kickstarter backers. Karen has been developed with support from the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham and in collaboration with Dr Kelly Page.
