This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing bitty data logger on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

With Bitty Data Logger you can capture and chart accelerometer, magnetometer and temperature data from your micro:bit over Bluetooth.

Bitty Data Logger is perfect for use with the Bloodhound Race for the Line schools competition (see http://www.racefortheline.com) and many other school or personal projects.

After capturing data, you can upload it to the internet and then download the data to a desktop computer for analysis in, for example, a spreadsheet.

Various Bugs fixed:
- it was not possible to upload more than one set of Bloodhound race results to the leader board
- the Bloodhound school token was not being saved when modified in the Settings screen
- after successful posting to the Bloodhound leader board, the Bloodhound Leader Board button was not immediately disabled and date posted was not immediately displayed.
