কোয়েল মল্লিক (জন্ম: ২৮শে এপ্রিল, ১৯৮২) একজন ভারতীয় পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা বাংলার সাবেক বিখ্যাত অভিনেত্রী এবং ব্লগার । তিনি বিখ্যাত অভিনেতা রঞ্জিত মল্লিকের মেয়ে।[১]


কোয়েল মল্লিকের পর্দায় প্রথম আবির্ভাব নাটের গুরু [৮] সিনেমায় বিখ্যাত ভারতীয় বাংলা অভিনেতা জিতের বিপরীতে। নাটের গুরু বক্স অফিসে খুবই বিখ্যাত হয়।[৯] ২০০৩ সালে মুক্তি পাওয়া এই ছবির মাধ্যমেই টলিউডে কোয়েলের পদার্পন ঘটে। এই ছবিতে জিৎ প্রধান অভিনেতা চরিত্রে অভিনয় করে। কোয়েল মনিকা নামক ২৩ বছর বয়সী এক মেয়ের চরিত্রে অভিনয় করে। এই ছবির পর থেকে জিৎ-কোয়েল জুটি এক জনপ্রিয় জুটি হিসেবে বিভিন্ন সিনেমায় অভিনয় করে (প্রায় ১১টি ছবিতে)।[১০] ২০০৪ সালে কোয়েল দেবীপক্ষ, শুধু তুমি, বাদশাহ্‌, বন্ধন ছবিতে অভিনয় করে। প্রথম দুটি ছবি বক্স অফিসে তেমন কিছু করতে না পারলেও বাদশাহ্‌ খুবই হিট হয় এবং বক্স অফিসে ব্লকবাস্টার তকমা পায়। ২০০৪ সালের অন্যতম বিখ্যাত ছবিও এটা। ২০০৫ সালে কোয়েল শুভ দৃষ্টি, মানিক, যুদ্ধ, চোরে চোরে মাসতুতো ভাই ছবিতে অভিনয় করে। যুদ্ধ ছবিতে সে মিঠুন চক্রবর্তী ও দেবশ্রী রায়ের বিপরীতে অভিনয় করে। ছবিটি প্রথম সপ্তাহে ১.২ কোটি টাকা আয় করে। ২০০৬ সালে আরো গুরুত্বপূর্ন চরিত্রে, একজন সাংবাদিক হিসেবে এম.এল.এ ফাটাকেষ্ট ছবিতে অভিনয় করে। সে ১৯৭০ সালে নির্মিত লাভ স্টোরির পুননির্মান লাভ ছবিতে ২০০৮ সালে অভিনয় করে। [১১] ২০০৯ সাল হতে কোয়েল নানা বিখ্যাত ছবি যেমন বলো না তুমি আমার, দুই পৃথিবী, পাগলু, ১০০% লাভ, হেমলক সোসাইটি, পাগলু ২ সহ আরো নানা ছবিতে অভিনয় করে। ২০১১ সালে দেব-কোয়েল জুটি রাজিব বিশ্বাস পরিচালিত ও সুরিন্দার ফিল্মস প্রযোজিত পাগলু ছবিতে অভিনয় করে। এই ছবিটি চ্যালেঞ্জ ২ (অক্টোবর, ২০১২) এর আগ পর্যন্ত মুক্তির প্রথম দিনে সর্বাধিক দর্শক দেখার রেকর্ড করে। স্টার জলসায় যেদিন এই ছবিটি দেখানো হয়, সেদিন এই ছবিটি এখন পর্যন্ত সর্বোচ্চ টি.আর.পি (প্রায় ১২.২৫) আয় করে। এই ছবি টি.আর.পি যুদ্ধে থ্রি ইডিয়টসকেও পিছনে ফেলে দেয়। মুক্তির প্রথম সপ্তাহে এই ছবিটি ১৬৬টি সিনেমা হলে এবং ২য় সপ্তাহে ১৬৯টি থিয়েটারে মুক্তি পায়। ১৩ই জুন, ২০১১ পর্যন্ত এর ম্যাটিনি শো ৫ কোটি টাকা আয় করে। এই ছবিটি ছিল বিনোদনমূলক। এর গান, অভিনয় সবকিছুই ছিল অসাধারণ। এই ছবি বাংলায় এতই বিখ্যাত হয় যে সালমান খানের রেডি ছবিকেও এটি পেছনে ফেলে দেয়। এর পর এই জুটি পাগলু ২ ছবিতেও অভিনয় করে। এছাড়াও এই জুটি আরো নানা ব্লকবাস্টার ছবিতে অভিনয় করে।

Koel Mallick (born Rukmini Mallick on 28 April 1982[1]) is an Indian film actress who appears in Bengali films.

Koel was born in Kolkata to Bengali film actor Ranjit Mallick and Deepa Mallick, of Kolkata's notable Mallick Bari of Bhowanipore (i.e., the Mallick family, which is closely associated with the powerful Barat and Gupta families), known for its Durga Puja.[3] Koel did her schooling from Modern High School for Girls, and completed a BSc (honors) in psychology from the Gokhale Memorial Girls' College, an affiliated college of the University of Calcutta.

Mallick's screen debut was in Nater Guru – opposite Jeet. Nater Guru was a "runaway success" at the box office.[4] The film, released in 2003, marked Mallick's entry into Tollywood. She also won her very first award for Best Actor in Leading Role Female from 4th Tele Cine Awards 2004 for Nater Guru. Nater Guru, which has Jeet in the male lead, sees Mallick playing the role of a 23-year-old girl named Monica. Since the release of Nater Guru the pair has worked together often, appearing in eleven films.[5]

In 2004, she starred in Debipaksha, Shudhu Tumi, Badsha The King and Bandhan. While the first two performed poorly[clarification needed] at the box office, Bandhan was a huge success in Bengal and was a blockbuster at the box office. It was also the highest grossing Bengali film of 2004.[citation needed]

In 2005, Mallick appeared in Shubhodrishti, Manik, Yuddho and Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai. She appeared in Yuddho opposite actors Mithun Chakraborty and Debasree Roy. The film recorded an initial collection of ₹ 12 million (12 million) in its first week. In 2006, she took on a more serious role in MLA Fatakeshto in which she played a reporter. She also starred in the Bengali remake of Love Story, the 2008 film Love.[6]
