There are no more bikes in Wellington and I can't get my deposit back from November last year. I would like that back. The app says I have no deposit (not true) and that I need to top up before riding (even though there are no bikes).

Great idea, terrible execution. 1. Bikes are not where they are shown on the map 2. Many are damaged. Their quality is so low that pedals break, or the seat doesn't stay fixed, or the tyre has a chunk missing. 3. Loads of helmets are missing. 4. Many available bikes tell you they're unavailable. 5. Onzo doesn't answer their phone, respond to voice messages or requests for refunds due to damaged and unrideable bikes. It's not rocket science Onzo... Look at other cities around the world.

Frustrating and time wasting. Any time you want a bike the first 5 or 6 you find will either be broken or "Not responding" when you do try unlock it. If you do succeed in unlocking a bike, but it then turns out to be jammed or broken, you will still get charged $0.25 for the honour of trying. Ive also been asked to pay my $10 deposit three times before i can unlock a bike, despite the fact that I've already paid. This could be so good, but instead is just a waste of time

I was very excited to try Onzo. But my first experience was far from pleasant. To start with the app set up process could be simplified . A web interface for registering would makes things so much easier. As someone already pointed the welcome screen appears every single time you open the app! Not necessary. My biggest complaint though is the location of the bikes shown on the map is quite erratic. I went to 3 locations on the app, where bikes are shown to be and found none :-( At this point I had given up on finding a bike using their app and started walking. Eventually I found one parked on street, I was very excited to give it a go but then I had to enter my card details again! It is quite inconvenient to type in the middle of the road. When I finally got through that and unlocked the bike found that the seat was loose! After trying to make it tight I had given up left the bike in the same place I found. I will give it another try because I think it's a great thing and I really want them to succeed.

Awesome concept. App needs a lot of work, it looks ourdated and is pretty buggy. Would recommend that you ask for the deposit and first top-up all in one go instead of two. Reporting bike page doesn't really submit reports by the looks of it. People keep putting bikes inside building - not sure what you can do about that. And I don't see why there isn't a remote lock button on my phone for when I forget to lock the bike. Overall, great experiences but app needs some work.

2/3 of the time you either can't rent a bike because there's some random "Unknown error" or the bike's falling to bits. And if you can get hold of an intact bike, most of the time it sounds like it might fall apart at any minute. It's a shame because I really like the idea, and it's great on the rare occasion that you can rent a functional bike, but I've given up trying. Just buy a bike instead. You can get one from the tip shop or even free at mechanical tempest in Newtown in better condition.
