This is a simple but very effective app. It has a notification bell for daily verses that come with a brief explanation of how the verse affects and applies itself in our daily lives. And it also has a short prayer that corresponds to the verse, that enables you to you to pray to God regarding the very same issue, more especially if you don't know how to pray.

Excellent app. I recommend it to all. It is my daily, go to app, for starting my day. I encourage the developers to expand the cut-N-paste function to the prayer and comment portions. Glad they have it for the daily verse section. May the Lord bless them for their service in spreading the word.

Dialogue does not follow printed words.....the reading stops before the chapter is finished and says, "this is the end of disc so-and-so......1/3 of the page is covered from the bottom up with a window with icons that are unnecessary when listening and or reading through and you can't read the words when they are covered up..... there's more..... but I will try something else

Love this app! The progress feature is a really powerful way to keep accountability and encourage you to continue reading consistently. Also, this might seem insignificant, but the spacing between the lines and verses is optimal for continuous reading. The is not too much text on the screen at one time but also does not require constant scrolling. If you've tried several times to read your Bible and failed, I recommend this app.

This app has come with some more appealing features. It's a better tool for study by far. 1) The arrangement of verses paragraph style 2) The inclusion of an option for highliting. The tone of the highlight is notably good. 3) In inclusion of a provision to make personal notes. These are a boost. Exclusion of cross references however, is a disappointment to me.

Edited: I discovered that the update installs a new version of the app, but it leaves the old version in place. I'll be honest. I much prefer the old version because it was easier to find verses with it split between old and new testament. Original review: What is with the constant update reminders? I actually uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it wanted to update right after. THERE IS NO UPDATE!
