I just downloaded this, so this won't be a full review. I truly appreciate the no ads. However, upon first impressions, I'd say it needs better navigation. Chapter and verse, not just chapter only. And I'd like to be able to click the book title at the top to change from book to book. It just needs better navigation in general. Very pretty background, though. And no ads. That alone almost makes up for the navigation. Almost. I'll give it a try.

I like that there are no adds. That is the way a Bible app absolutely should be. There is a serious technical problem however that I have with this app. Whenever I rest my thumb on the screen it makes the menus/tool bars, top and bottom auto hide and or auto appear and makes the text jump erraticly up and down on the screen. Makes it impossible to read with your thumb resting on the screen. I still gave it three stars because of that, but otherwise it'd be 5.

Update: Thank you Christian Resources for giving me the link to the original version. Original: I LOVED the old version! It's the one that shows up with the older version. You opened it, clicked on Old or New Testament, the list of Books were there, you clicked on each one. It was perfect and so easy-to-use. The background coloring was wonderful. I used it everyday. Now this updated version is horrible! If there's any way that I can get the old version back I'll give it 5 stars!

The page flicks up and down while attempting to scroll up and down, this is so annoying and disruptive trying to read and find verse and lose track of place on page!!! This occurs because you try and keep the UI icons displayed at all times!!! The icons should be hidden especially when reading and scrolling page!!! This fault alone is nearly enough to uninstall app please find way to keep UI icons hidden at all times until need for them to be displayed!!!

the app works ok but if you accidentally hit the screen too many times it goes back to the homescreen and wont allow you back in. you have to close it and start all over. Also there are no shortcuts when trying to get to chapters of books. You have to hit the button through all chapters until you get the one you want in the book you choose.

This app was just about perfect, and then the whole system was changed, like it is a different app altogether, the yellowish color background is now white, the whole search set up has changed...??? Why??? Very disappointed...😩😢😖 People go through tons of bible apps to find the one they like, and then the people behind the app, feel that they need to change the whole set up on the customers, if you want to redo a set up make a new app, don't try and fix what isn't broken!!!😭
