I am so thrilled by this translation that I can hardly find the words to express my delight. I have tried other translations/transliterations but they are so inferior to yours. I realize that translation of the text into English in a way that truly reflects both the meaning and the feeling of the text is very difficult. You've done the job beautifully. Any chance you might consider doing the same for the Ramayana. I for one would be forever grateful. Thank you so much.

Excellent work! One thing only, as the content is not numbered page-wise I had to scroll and find where to start reading again. If the app puts a mark where the reader closed, one could see it instantly next time and start reading from there. A kind of book mark!

I am grateful for this ancient wisdom. However, I have trouble reading the small text. When I enlarge it, it runs off the screen. This makes it difficult to read smoothly. I hope this will be changed soon. Sadly it has intrusive ads that cover the screen. Unacceptable. Uninstalled.

This is the largest epic of the world. Everything is there.Nothing else you can see anywhere. So the Mahabharatha is full and perfect in itself.Thank you for making available to us all to read, study and enjoy.

This is a long and wonderful work, yet there is no way to mark where you left off reading. Wow. Surely, the vast majority of us cannot finish reading this in one sitting.

The content is good but after tallying with wiki, I find some parvas missing like anukramanika, dyuta parva . they should be added

About this app

Mahabharata, The Greatest Epic

The Mahābhārata, is the greatest, longest and one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being the Rāmāyana. With more than 74,000 verses, plus long prose passages, or some 1.8 million words in total, it is one of the longest epic poems in the world.

It contains eighteen Parvas or sections viz., Adi Parva, Sabha Parva, Vana Parva, Virata Parva, Udyoga Parva, Bhishma Parva, Drona Parva, Karna Parva, Shalya Parva, Sauptika Parva, Stree Parva, Shanti Parva, Anushasana Parva, Asvamedha Parva, Ashramavasika Parva, Mausala Parva, Mahaprasthanika Parva and Swargarohanika Parva. Each Parva contains many sub-Parvas or subsections. bharatfoormobile has built this mobile application with all the Parvas.

We've offered the greatest poem in both Sanskrit and Roman text. Built with the emphasis to read with features like zoom, bookmarking, search & social share. We think we've built the perfect mobile application to read this great epic.
