This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mental Painter (BS Magic) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. This really is an excellent effect. People are amazed with the reveal. I love this so much more than card reveal apps. More mysterious in a very fun way. Note: You will have to print images from a template.

About this app

This magic app has been developed mainly for MAGICIANS and MENTALISTS, but after reading the instructions almost anyone can perform the trick. If you have any questions or problems, please contact me at benke.smith@gmail.com

EFFECT:
You (the Magician) show the spectator 8 cards, with 8 colored images on each card (64 different images in total). You shuffle the cards face down, and the spectator takes one. They should mentally choose (and remember) an image from the card, one they can remember easily. Only the spectator will know what the chosen image is.

Then you give them a phone or tablet, and show how they can scroll the screen (back and forth). They will see 64 greyscale images, randomly mixed. The spectator should scroll the screen and look for the greyscale version of their mentally chosen image.

When they find the image, they should stare at it and try to mentally paint it. After a while, the colors will fade in and the chosen image (and only that one) will be shown in nice vivid colors!

METHOD:
You will find detailed instructions inside the app. You'll have to print your own cards, you will find the downloadable templates in the User Guide.
