When it works, it's useful. But it will randomly lose connection, and I have to move it right next to the router to get it to reconnect. I say random because I've had power outages (thanks California), but days later, when the power comes back, it connects fine. But it will drop even when wifi and internet haven't (I know because my work vpn didn't disconnect).

Worthless. Never shows my two WeMo smart plugs as available. I just want to turn on and off some hard-to-reach lamps. It really shouldn't be that complicated. But this app has not functioned in over a year and I'm over it. What's the point of smart plugs if you have to manually turn them on and off by touching them? Might as well have saved the money and not purchased them at all. They certainly aren't smart or adding anything to make life easier. Just two gray useless boxes on my screen.

Everything was working fine. I have several switches and plugins. Everything was connected and working until I changed my wifi. Now it takes me on an endless loop of trying to connect to the wifi. Even the link (little ? Icon) takes you to a dead link. No information about resetting or reconnecting. Finally got the plugins to connect, but the light switches are dead. Very frustrating for a $40 switch.

This use to work well with an older wemo plugin I had. I guess WEMO upgraded the app so that it doesn't work well with older devices so we have to upgrade them? I only have one plugin device (gift some years backed). Worked fine when I first got it. If you're into serious home automationbthis doesn't look like the beet way to go. I use something else for my needs. Thankfully this plug did not play a big role in my home auto.

I am generally delighted with the app. It controls 3 outside lights on a house 250 miles from our permanent residence. It does this without the slightest problem day in, day out. The app and associated switches are cheap and reliable. The only quibble I had was that one of the switches was quite balky in connecting to the home network. I did finally get it up and running, and no problems since.

Switches and plugs constantly are unreachable. Reset, try to rediscover and still not working. Very frustrated. I have 13 devices and would buy another 10 but at this point am thinking of switching to a different company. Update. Wemo sucks even worse. Can't permanently remove a device. Switching all my devices to Leviton, they work! Will never buy a Wemo/Belkin product again
