This app is a great idea and very well done. Nice to use and attractive. Needs a little streamlining of the UX (at time of writing) but that's expected for early into first release. Two suggestions: - Could the app sync and save more data (perhaps syncing when phone is charging every night) for when I have no connection as it's a good time to browse something like this. - Including an optional notification of and link to PMQs would help me watch it more. I do hope the app stays non-partisan, and there is no tilt or bias via omission or undue prominence. Good work!

I highly recommend this app for anyone with an interest in UK politics. I was wondering if it could be open-sourced to provide and verify full transparency? Otherwise, a must-have Android app, to keep you in the loop.

About this app

Commons is a tool to make it easier to follow and get involved in UK politics.

See an overview of the latest debates from the House of Commons, view the upcoming schedule, or search for an MP to find what they have been involved in recently. For quicker access you can add them to your favourites list or add a widget to your homescreen to keep up to date with their activities in parliament.

As well as recent debate activity, each MP profile displays their career history, an overview of their voting tendencies, and links to relevant social media, websites and contact information.

The data shown is collated from TheyWorkForYou, Wikipedia and the official Parliament.uk website.

Permissions:
- Location services can be used to quickly find the MP who represents your current location. The permission is only used if you press on the Location button in the search form. On Android Marshmallow and above this permission will be requested only when you press this button.

Content rating:
- "App can contain references to illegal drugs" - Debates in parliament may discuss drug-related topics, which would be shown in the Debates feeds on the app home page or on MPs' profiles.

- "Personal information shared with third party" - If you press the Location button in the search form, location services will determine the postcode nearest your location and that postcode will be used to search on www.theyworkforyou.com. The app does not store this information or send it anywhere else.

v1.2 (August 2016):
