Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AudioTiles LITE on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Never managed to load a single audio file. The whole process is unnecessarily difficult.

Audiotiles Lite is great, easy to use and super customizable! I recently updated the app, and then got an error message when I tried to play any of my tiles. However, after writing my review, the developer reached out almost immediately and helped me solve the issue. It is such a great app, truly everything I've looked for in a DND soundboard.

I use it for atmosphere in my D&D games and it works great. It's got a nice selection already on it and it's free to add your own stuff. All and all a great app.

This app is great, but if I could ask for one thing is would be for the ability to fade between sounds automatically. I would either be able to make a sound fade out when you stop it by touching it if it was set to fade or have the option to set it so it fades between two sounds within a custom time. Like I have Sound 1 playing and I want that to fade into Sound 2, so I set it to 12 seconds and it automatically fades between them in 12 seconds. I would pay if these features were added :)

About this app

AudioTiles is a soundboard application for creating highly customizeable arrangements of tiles (buttons) mapped to any on-device sound files (either user provided or those provided by the app), allowing powerful control over playback and organization of sounds. Useful in creating ambiance and adding sound effects to your next tabletop event or themed party. Includes many features for playback control, as well as look and feel of tile display. Multiple views allow for quick access to different aspects of playback and tile navigation. Arrangements of tiles (called Layouts) can be saved for re-use. Multiple Layouts may be opened simultaneously (as tabs in the application), allowing sounds from multiple layouts to be playing simultaneously.

The LITE version has a small, out of the way ad banner at the bottom to enable continued development & support of the app. Try the Ad-Free version for a larger workspace!
