I mainly use it for classical guitar and it works great. Not once has it notated incorrectly and it offers a wide range of instruments to choose from as well. Could very well be used to compose if basic knowledge of music theory is known. Upgrade cost shy of five dollars, however, it is well worth your money. Great app.

I hate this app. It is no different from the free version, except it plays a note. You can find notes anywhere. It won't even give me a refund.

I paid for band mate Pro and it quit working in about 2 weeks. Everytime I try to open it my screen just goes black. I don't know what's wrong and don't know who to ask to fix it but I don't recommend this app to anyone.

Great for getting note right on trumpet. Please add split screen functionality so that this can be used with other music apps simultaneously.
