Raça Negra (português do Brasil: ['?as? 'neg??]); O português de "Raça Negra" é um grupo de pagodes brasileiro de São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo.

O grupo se formou em 1983, mas não lançou seu primeiro álbum até 1991, depois que uma fita demo os assinou com a RGE. O álbum gerou inúmeros sucessos no Brasil e, na década seguinte, o grupo vendeu milhões de álbuns. Eles fizeram muitas aparições na televisão brasileira. Entre seus sucessos estão "Caroline", "Quero Ver Você Chorar", "Somente Você", "Chega", "Cigana", "Quando Te Encontrei", "Cheia de Manias", "Doce Paixão" e "Me Leva Junto" com Você ".

A música do grupo é talvez mais conhecida pelo mundo de língua inglesa como resultado de uma falha em uma fábrica de prensagem de CD brasileira em 1999. Várias centenas de cópias dos CD-ROMs da AOL foram acidentalmente pressionadas com um álbum de Raça Negra em vez do software da empresa.

Percebe-se que o conjunto não apresenta cavaquinho ou banjo, instrumentos tradicionais com músicas do gênero pagode.
