About this app

Kerajaan Islam di Indonesia -Sebelum penjajah Belanda datang ke Indonesia, di Indonesia telah berdiri kerajaan-kerajaan besar seperti : Samudera Pasai dan Aceh Darussalam (Sumatera), Pajang, Demak, Mataram, Cirebon, dan Banten (Jawa), Banjar dan Kutai (Kalimantan), Gowa-Tallo, Bone, Wajo, Soppeng, dan Luwa (Sulawesi).
Kerajaan Islam pertama di Indonesia adalah kerajaan Samudera Pasai yang merupakan kerajaan kembar. Kerajaan ini terletak di pesisir timur laut Aceh. Kerajaan Aceh terletak di daerah yang sekarang dikenal dengan nama Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Di sini pula terletak ibu kotanya. Kurang begitu diketahui kapan kerajaan ini sebenarnya berdiri. Anas Machmud berpendapat, Kerajaan Aceh berdiri pada abad ke 15 M, di atas puing-puing kerajaan Lamuri, oleh Muzaffar Syah (1465-1497).
Sedangkan di Pulau Jawa juga berdiri kerajaan Demak yang dipimpin oleh Raden Patah, kemudian berdiri pula Kesultanan Pajang yang dipandang sebagai pewaris kerajaan Islam Demak. Kesultanan Cirebon adalah kerajaan Islam pertama di jawa Barat. Kerajaan ini didirikan oleh Sultan Gunung Jati.
Di Kalimantan juga berdiri dua buah kerajaan yaitu kerajaan Banjar yang rajanya bernama Sultan Suruiansyah, dan kerajaan Kutai yang salah satu rajanya bernama Tuan di bandang atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Dato’ Ri Bandang.
