Bahkan kebanyakan imam di Indonesia sering menggunakan surat-surat pendek dalam sholatnya. Biasanya satu surat pendek untuk setiap raka'at. Surat-surat yang dibaca adalah surat al-ikhlas, surat an-nas, surat al-kafirun, atau surat-surat pendek lainnya.
