Hadits 8 Tata Cara Berudlu Rasulullah salallahu’alaihi wa sallam

Dari Humran maula (bekas budak) Utsman bin Affan ra. Bahwasanya Utsman meminta diambilkan air wudhu kemudian dia menuangkan air dari bejana ke atas kedua telapak tangannya lalu membasuh keduanya tiga kali. Kemudian dia memasukkan tangan kanannya ke air wudlu lalu berkumur-kumur dan beristinsaq (menghirup air ke hidung) serta ber-istintsar (mengeluarkan air yang dihirup ke hidung). Kemudian dia membasuh wajahnya tiga kali. Kemudian dia membasuh kedua tangannya hingga siku tiga kali. Kemudian dia mengusap kepalanya. Kemudian dia membasuh kedua kakinya hingga mata kaki tiga kali. Kemudian Utsman berkata: Aku melihat Rasulullah saw dulu berwudhu seperti wudluku tadi. Kemudian Rasulullah saw bersabda, “Barang siapa yang berwudhu seperti wudhuku ini kemudian sholat dua raka’at dalam keadaan tidak terlintas pikiran apapun (dalam urusan keduniaan) di dalam benaknya niscaya dosa-dosanya yang telah berlalu akan diampuni.”

Hadits ini diriwayatkan oleh al-Bukhari di dalam kitab Shahihnya, pada Kitab al-Wudlu, bab al-Wudlu’u tsalatsan tsalatsan (159)
Adapun di dalam Shahih Muslim disebutkan pada Kitab ath-Thaharah, Bab Shifatil wudlu’i wa Kamalihi (423)
