About this app

Aufgrund der bis dato bekannten Unterlagen wird davon ausgegangen, dass Obersdorf 2017 600 Jahre alt würde. Nach Sichtung verschiedener Unterlagen und Rücksprache mit Dr. Gerhard Göbel ergab sich jedoch, dass Obersdorf bereits seit 1344 besteht und demnach 2019 675 Jahre alt wird.

Die wichtigste Quelle, aus der hervorgeht, dass Obersdorf bereits seit 1344 besteht, ist das „Mann- und Güterbuch“ der von Bicken. Darin sind alle Orte aufgeführt, die den von Bicken abgabepflichtig gewesen sind. Unter anderem heißt es darin: „item zu Opperstorff des großen (Zehenden) ein vierthel und den kleinen zumahlen“. Dabei handelt es sich ganz sicher um unser Obersdorf, da es zwischen Dielfen (Tylffe) und Rinsdorf (Rimstorff) genannt wird.

Erwähnenswert ist nebenbei jedoch auch, dass Obersdorf und Rödgen 2017 vor 200 Jahren zusammengeführt wurden.
Nach mehrmaligen Sitzungen des Arbeitskreises wurde beschlossen, einen Förderverein für das Jubiläum zu gründen. Die entsprechende Gründungsversammlung fand am 18. April 2016 statt. Der Förderverein bietet bessere Handlungsmöglichkeiten für die intensiven Planungen und Vorbereitungen, um das Jubiläum gebührend feiern zu können.
Zudem kann die Planung und Durchführung der Feierlichkeiten nicht allein aus einem kleinen Arbeitskreis heraus bewältigt werden, sondern wir benötigen dafür die Unterstützung aller interessierten Bürgerinnen und Bürger, Vereine und Institutionen. Der Förderverein soll für die Zeit der Vorbereitung bis etwa zum Ende des Jubiläumsjahres bestehen.
Der Arbeitskreis bzw. Vorstand des Fördervereins gehen davon aus, dass 1344 als gesichertes Datum angesehen werden kann und arbeiten entsprechend daraufhin, 2019 675 Jahre Obersdorf zu feiern.
