Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EV Decider (Thesis Prototype) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

The goal of the thesis is to develop an app that helps people decide if they can switch to an electric vehicle. You csn for example use the app to track how far you travel by car each day and see if that is within range of what electric vehicles are capable of.

You have been invited to help me test the final prototype. Since it is a prototype and not a finished product it is very bare bones and most of the data (such as locations of charging stations) are fake and should not be used for real world decision. The main thing I require feedback on is the user experience and not the features of functionality of the app. Are certain parts of the app hard to understand? Is it hard to use? Positive feedback is of course also welcome.

I need your feedback at the latest the 3rd of September (3/9/2017).
