About this app

MORE 91.7 FM, a self-sustaining Community Radio Station opened its doors to the public on February 9, 2012, approximately Six (6) years ago. Situated in the heart of Glendevon in the parish of St. James, MORE 91.7 FM is not only classified as the station that drives strong community energy but is ultimately the sole community based radio station in our region. Our current mandate is to inform, entertain and educate our listeners through our 24-hour radio broadcasting service, community outreach programs and collaborative efforts with the security forces and other entities with similar objectives. Our purpose is to develop and operate a sustainable community radio station serving different communities in the western region. Our broadcasting services impact over eighty-thousand (80,000) families situated in the wider communities of St. James, Trelawny, Hanover and Westmoreland. Currently, we have over twenty (20) employees including Radio Broadcasters, Disc Jockeys, I.T. Specialists and Technical Crew who have been making endless sacrifices to help build the listenership of the Radio Station.
