The Flowertown Festival, now in its 45th year, is a charity event founded in 1972 that benefits the local nonprofit, the Summerville Family YMCA. Festival attendees can leisurely browse hundreds of arts and crafts, business, civic and food vendors in Summerville's historic downtown and enjoy being surrounded by an abundance of azalea blossoms.
