My experience started with their free books and I moved on to purchasing some of the options that appealed to me. They have a very large selection and I have enjoyed many of the purchases that I made and to which I listened. My only concern became cost, and lack of transferability. Otherwise, I thought it a good app.

Love the ease with which I can locate my library, and the option to download any selection I want to listen to instead of streaming; love that I can search for exactly the genre I enjoy. I find listening when I have downloaded a book while driving to be more convenient in case I find myself in a dead zone. Only wish I could connect it to my WAZE app for driving so listening does not interfere with driving directions. The price compared to similar services is phenomenal!

The app works well. I am comparing to Audible's app. First, the difference in the price of books between Audiobooks Now and Audible is astounding. The download speed (if you download your books) is slightly slower than Audible in most situations. So, you have to be patient if you are used to the 60-second download. The tracks obviously correspond to tracks on CDs or DVDs and thus do not necessarily correspond to book chapter breaks. This can be a problem if you want to go back to a previous chapter and listen again. However, that is only a problem for nonfiction books, at least for me. The audio quality is good. The way the books in in my audiobooks now library are shown in a vertical array works well for me, and of course, you can archive books that you do not want to see again. I have been using the app for several years on Android and it has been significantly improved during that period. I recommend it to everyone. Update: the developer replied that chapters are available via preset bookmarks. Thanks for the info.

The service and books are great. The price is very affordable and doesnt sacrifice selection. The app is easy to navigate through, easy to find authors and books. Going between library and searching is my only complaint. The audiobook player is the main reason for 4 stars. It stops randomly. UPDATE* The team was quick in helping me resolve this issue. Turned out my phone was putting it to sleep after an update. 5 *s now!

The service and books are great. Affordable prices and sales are fairly frequent, whether you are a monthly customer or not. App - Player View Player View is good: has Sleep, Speed settings. The buttons don't always fit well. They have text inside the button. . The bookmark button always wraps. It would be a better visually if they used graphics buttons that can size for different screens. Track information is missing for most books. .. this is a big minus. . App - My Library Page Library Page works well enough. The Book detail is good. I would prefer to know if a book is downloaded or not. Hard to tell from the Hide/Download/Archive buttons, not really sure what they mean. On device indicator would be good. Also, the size of my phone, I only see about 3 books would prefer smaller graphics or even some type of list to show more books. In this regard the Audible app is a bit better with more books available on a page, and filtering for downloaded, in progress etc. App - Browse Browse page is good. What I really like about this app is that this is not where you're taken when you open the App. I like to go straight to whatever I'm listening. This is the opposite of the Audible app, which has decided you need to see all their bloated offers before you can go to listen to your book. Give it a 4 out of 5.

Four-star service, two-star app. I'll start on the positive; it's a solid collection of audiobooks and easy to find/purchase/download titles. Prices seem to be decent as well. However, with my (albeit brief, please note) experiences, the app kind of sucks: the "tracks" are segmented in no relation to chapters in the book, the audio abruptly stops until the app is reloaded every 10-20 minutes and, at least the book I'm listening to at the moment, has issues with keeping the "tracks" chronological
