I have been using the app on Google TV via Chromecast for about 5 days now. For the most part I'm pleased with the functionality it provides. However, I do find that if I pair my Nest Audio speaker with Google TV and then open the DirecTV app, whatever channel or program I try to stream, will start and immediately stop then start again repeatedly. Sometimes this will also force the Bluetooth connection to disconnect. Other apps like Apple TV and Netflix don't have any issues though.

I hate that I have to use it. It's okay unless you want to binge-watch something on demand. Then be prepared to watch the same darn commercial 7-9 times every 2 mins. It's annoying. If I get forced to watch one more Feeding America commercial during Chopped, I will scream. It's ridiculous as I pay for this torture, and this app is the only way you can watch on multiple TVs or devices, even at home. Oh, and it tends to freeze on last one restarting the set of commercials. I finally had enough!!

This is one of the worst apps I've ever used. I have it on both my mobile device & Fire Stick. It very frequently displays an error message claiming there's no internet connection (which is false). Fixing this error requires clicking the "clear data" option and being forced to log back in (painful using a remote to select a character at a time - especially when they won't even save your username). If you do manage to get in, the interface is clunky and search is unusable.

Streaming has not been working correctly for the past month. It gets stuck when I get the screen " commercial break in progress.". I can hear the program come back on in audio but I'm still looking at the commercial break screen. Only way to get the program back is to exit, either change the channel or close app and come back. It used to work really well but no longer. Frustrating.

If you can't get set up because you continue to get an error code, it is hard to give you a score better than 2 stars. Have wasted nearly an hour trying to just set up and log in. This process has been repeat about 4 times over the past year and I strill cannot use the app. I tried it online after the app did not allow me to use a login set up a year ago.

Terrible. Tabbing through options doesn't work, have to flip into mouse mode for something that simple. Likewise, something as simple as moving to the right in the guide crashes the app. Also, the simple act of jumping 30 seconds requires a switch to mouse mode, then movement of the mouse before the 1 second timeout occurs. You'll press 5-6 buttons to jump, which you intended to be fast. Total garbage that leaves the end-user completely out of design considerations.
