Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sim Companion (FS 2020, Elite on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Use your Android device as input for your PC games; Especially helpful in simulator games such as MS Flight Simulator and Elite Dangerous.
Note: You'll need to manually bind the inputs as you would a generic joystick/controller.

Notes:
Windows might give you a false warning when running the desktop server app; Please do not leave a bad review due to this.
As a standalone developer I cannot afford the ridiculous costs for digital certificates that are required to sign these executables; Which is why you get these warnings.
If you're still concerned, the server code is available on the Github link above so you can take a look at it yourself and build from source.
