This is a strange beast... Very functional and useful until it isn't! Could be great if it wasn't abandonware... Some seemingly unsupported formats can be played when properly selected from the list in the player window (not the initial "explorer" window), so there must be at least one proper format in that folder... obviously a UI bug. Can see my WD TV Live as a player and cast to it! But doesn't see it as a source. Can detect and see my Asus N66U router DLNA and play its content (to Android device or Wd Tv Live). Promising... if it wasn't abandoned... VLC good (and actively supposed!) alternative.

This streaming app is horrible. it does not support many formats. I had problem playing AVI and RMVB. I had to download other players to play it. as for RMVB, it just said file not supported and didn't do anything. At least give an option to select other players to play the file.

Asus has the worst customer service on the planet!!! They have great hardware IF you get a good one which unfortunately is a random event. Asus quality control is non existent and they basicly depend on their paid customers and warranty to act as their quality control. If you get a good motherboard then you have an excellent motherboard however if you receive one that has problems (which is likely) good luck dealing with Asus tech and customer support!! The best thing you can do is purchase Asus hardware using Amazon Prime where you have 30 day exchange and return policy!! That way you dont get jerked around by Asus's inept nonexistant customer support/service.
