The Association of Surgeons of Rajkot

Since 1983, the Association of Surgeons of Rajkot has served as a beacon of surgical excellence, fostering collaboration, education, and innovation in the field. We stand proudly as a community of more than 150 dedicated surgeons from 12 diverse specialties, united by a shared passion for advancing patient care and relieving suffering.


Our Story:
Born from the collective vision of Rajkot's surgical pioneers, our association took root with a humble membership of 41. Over the decades, we have witnessed remarkable growth, driven by the unwavering commitment of our members. Today, we represent a vibrant network of expertise, encompassing:

General surgeons: the basic and common degree/ academic level that all the members of the society possess, and able to perform various surgical procedures on abdomen/ limbs/ body

Colo-rectal Surgeons: Experts in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders.

Endocrine Surgeons: Specialising in the management of hormonal imbalances and related conditions.

Genito-Urinary Surgeons: Dedicated to the surgical care of the urinary and male reproductive systems.

Minimal Access Surgeons: Pioneering minimally invasive techniques for faster recovery and reduced complications.

Breast Surgeons: Offering comprehensive breast care, from diagnosis and treatment to reconstruction.

Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons: Caring for the heart, lungs, and major blood vessels.

Oncology Surgeons: Leading the fight against cancer with advanced surgical techniques.

Trauma & Critical Care Surgeons: Saving lives in the face of critical injuries and emergencies.

ENT Surgeons: Treating disorders of the ear, nose, and throat.

Orthopaedic Surgeons: Specialists in the musculoskeletal system, from bones and joints to ligaments and tendons.

Fasciomaxillary Surgeons: Reconstructing and restoring facial features after trauma, cancer, or birth defects.
