Building on the heritage of its predecessor, Massive X offers 170 wavetables, a flexible Routing page, a cleaner resizable user interface, and infinite sound design capabilities. This course, by synthesist expert Rishabh Rajan, will teach you everything you need to know to get familiar with this powerful wavetable synth and start building your own sounds quickly and easily.

Rishabh starts the course with an overview Massive X’s user interface. After demonstrating how to load and save presets, Rishabh dives deep into the heart of the synth. He explains how the flexible Routing tab opens a lot of possibilities, with its almost modular approach to sound creating. He covers the dual wavetable engine in detail (including the Phase Modulation section) as well as the Noise wavetables which can be used to add grit to your sound or as a modulation source. Next up, you discover the powerful filter types, the insert and unit effects and the extensive modulation section. The course ends with a look at the 16 Macros controls.
