This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Dictionary Urban on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

In Dictionary Urban we think that many students complain that the English spoken in the street is not taught in the academies of this country. It is absolutely true. English is a very creative language and rich in expressions, the famous idioms. How many students use contractions - which are indicators of the colloquial register - regularly and accurately? In my experience, few. And let's not talk about more complicated expressions, which include images or metaphors.


I have compiled this small urban dictionary of colloquial terms to alleviate this situation as much as possible. In the most doubtful cases, I have put the phonetic transcription with the intention of facilitating the pronunciation (in American English). Abbreviations are the usual abbreviations of a dictionary.


I hope you enjoy it, every week we will be publishing expressions.
