Surah Yasin atau Surah Ya Sin (bahasa Arab:يس) adalah surah ke-36 dalam al-Qur'an. Surah ini terdiri atas 83 ayat, serta termasuk golongan surah-surah Makkiyah. Dinamai Ya Sin karena surah ini dimulai dengan dua abjad Arab Ya Sin. Sebagaimana halnya arti tersembunyi huruf-huruf abjad Alif Lam Mim atau Nun yang terletak pada permulaan beberapa surah Al-Quran, maka demikian pula arti Ya Sin yang termasuk dalam kategori ayat mutasyaabihat. Salah satu surat yang mungkin paling banyak dibaca oleh masyarakat di Singapura,Indonesia, Thailand dan Malaysia. Betapa tidak, hampir setiap minggu selalu ada pengajian untuk membaca surat Yasin di berbagai masjid di seluruh negara Asia Tenggara ini, utamanya di malam Jum’at.
