About this app

100% Free-to-Use Multiplatform App for in-game trading for ARK: Survival Evolved.

Tired of using websites or apps that have ads or trade group drama like on Facebook or Discord? Or perhaps websites or apps that charge you for posting or assault your eyeballs with advertisements?

These are two reasons the Ark-Trader.com website and Android APP were created. (IOS App is TBD)

Registering is easy and users can either create a profile from the ground up or use their Facebook or Google account to expedite the process. (Facebook and/or Google account not required)

Once registered, users have 100% complete access to the following features:

Creating trading posts for free:

- Select which platform they want to create their post on and if they play official PVP or PVE (Xbox, Playstation, Switch, or PC).
- Select their price type and the amount (Fixed, Negotiable, Auction, or Free)
- What type of currency they are looking for (Polymer, Crystal, Dinos, Metal Ingots, Tek, Other)
- Can include up to 5 images per post (10mb per image)
- A textbox to put a more detailed description such as color or other currency such as hide, etc.
- Tags to make your post easier to search
- Type of Ad: Buy or Sell
- Item Condition (50/50, Guaranteed, Other, Podded Baby)
- A field for you to link a youtube video (Not required)
- Server Number (Seller's server has preference)
- Spawn Location (Coordinates, spawn zone, or closest OB)
- If you want to turn the post into an auction you can select end date and time!

Searching through posts is 100% free and doesn't even require a login (Browse as a guest), search by keyword on the main page or do an advanced search using the following filters:

- Categories (Xbox, Playstation, Switch, or PC) and/or sub-categories (PVP or PVE)
- Condition (50/50, Guaranteed, Other, Podded Baby)
- Currency (Polymer, Crystal, Dinos, Metal Ingots, Tek, Other)
- Price (Minimum and Maximum values)

Other features included 100% free:

- In-App messaging and between buyer and seller on each ad!
- Share ads to facebook or anywhere else!
- Add ads to your Favorites so you can get back to it without searching!
- Reporting ads (***Abusing this feature will result in your account getting banned***)
- Rate ads
- Rate Sellers 1-5 Stars and leave a review that is viewable by others
- See all of a person's posts by visiting their profile
- Block users
- Use "My Ads" section to mark your items as either Active, Expired, or Sold
- All items in the app and website share the same database and therefore can be found on either one depending on user preference

App Permissions

Allows access to the vibrator.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
